Why Wenvar

Keep your systems. Remove the work between them.

Your team already has a camera, a chat thread, a shared folder, a spreadsheet and a report template. The photos are not the problem. The problem is the work between those five places: renaming, forwarding, filing, retyping and chasing, done by hand for every photo.

Wenvar does that work at the moment the photo is taken. When a photo uploads it is already stamped, filed and on the map, with a suggested caption added as it is processed, and everyone on the project is looking at the same record. Keep the systems you run today. Wenvar is the link between them: one record, made at the shutter, that your reports, spreadsheets and shared folders all draw from, so nothing is retyped on the way.

Capture

Recorded at the moment it happened.

Open Wenvar and take the photo. The time and a fresh GPS fix are measured at the shutter, written into the record and printed onto the photo itself, with the address and a map of where it was taken.

What you see above the viewfinder is exactly what the record will say. The photo carries the stamp, and the register carries the data behind it: time, position, accuracy and address, held as fields on the record from the moment the capture lands, before anything can re-encode, forward or strip the file.

Organise

One register the whole project can search.

Every photo files itself into the project register with a suggested caption in plain site language, always open to edit.

Search by words, tag, role, person or date, matching from the first keystroke. Tag a defect number once and every related photo lines up, even after the crew who took them has moved on.

Locate

Every photo, placed where it was taken.

The register plots onto a map of your project. Zoom to a work front, open a group, and read the records taken standing right there. Nearby photos cluster as you zoom out, so a busy pour reads as one group, not a hundred pins.

Two years later, when someone asks what was in that trench before it was backfilled: set the dates, zoom to the spot, and the photos are there, still attributed to the engineer who has since left the project.

Wenvar does not ask your project to migrate anything. It works beside the systems you already run, and hands them the record in forms they already accept.

PDF photo reports

A stamped photo report for a day or a hand-picked set, titled with your reference so it files straight into document control and reads like the quality record it is attached to.

Spreadsheet export, photos included

Export the filtered register as an Excel workbook with the photo on every row, alongside time, caption, tags, address and coordinates, or as plain CSV. Originals download as a zip with an index, up to 100 photos at a time.

Import what you have

Drag in the photos already on the server. Wenvar reads the capture time and GPS position stored inside each file before anything uploads, shows you which photos still carry them and which arrived with nothing attached*, and never duplicates a record when a folder is imported again.

* A photo forwarded through Teams, WhatsApp or Messenger is re-encoded and loses the capture data inside it. Wenvar still brings it in and says so on the record. If a stamp is printed on the picture, AI can read the date, time and address from it, with your consent, and the record is marked as read from the image rather than measured by a device. You can also state the capture date yourself, or import it as-is.

The progress claim needs the pour photos from the 12th. Filter the date, pick the records, title the report PC-14, and it goes out reading like a quality document. When a subcontractor’s claim comes in, the same search shows what was actually in place that day, with time, position and who took it on every record.

Site supervisor and QA

QA tags ncr826 as they shoot. Before they are back at the site office, the supervisor has searched ncr826 and has every photo, with time, position and who took it. Without a phone call, a chat thread or a wait at the desk.
